Jurgen Klinsmann is second best in the firm’s betting at 10-1 to succeed Roy Hodgson, while Eddie Howe can be backed at 16-1 for the role.

“It’s been all one-way traffic for Big Sam in the next England manager betting for the last few days but after it emerged Allardyce has been interviewed for the job, he is now long odds-on to be appointed the new Three Lions boss,” said Coral’s John Hill.
