Coral’s rumour reel

Coral’s latest rumour reel features many of the Premier League’s top clubs pursuing high-profile summer acquisitions in a bid to bolster their respective squads for next term, including champions Leicester City and Tottenham.

Spurs seek Vazquez signing

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs pushed Leicester all the way last season but ultimately suffered a final hurdle collapse to finish third behind bitter rivals Arsenal, and it seems that hurt has led their Argentine boss to try and strengthen his roster.

The club are now reportedly setting their sights on snapping up Palermo playmaker Franco Vazquez, with the twice-capped Italy international set to be the subject of a Tottenham offer in the coming days.

They will need to be quick though as Palermo’s fellow Serie A sides Fiorentina and San Siro giants AC Milan are also said to be interested in his signature, but the 27-year-old is believed to be keen on a switch to England, particularly a club in the Champions League.

The Argentina-born Italian struck eight times for his current employers in the season just past, while he also made six assists, with his impressive attacking abilities potentially set to grace White Hart Lane next campaign.

Foxes want Wanyama this summer

After clinching a remarkable top-flight victory, Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes are hoping to boost their roster for next term and have outlined Southampton anchorman Victor Wanyama as a possible new arrival at the King Power Stadium.

The Saints enforcer has previously been linked with Arsenal and Spurs but it’s Leicester who are showing increased interest in his capture, though the move could be in place as a direct solution to N’Golo Kante’s heavily tipped exit.

France international midfielder Kante is linked with a host of top European clubs after an incredible campaign with the Foxes, including Chelsea, Real Madrid and PSG, with former Celtic ace Wanyama seen as a suitable replacement.

Blues target Sevilla’s N’Zonzi

Following a hugely disappointing domestic season, Chelsea are aiming to rebuild and enjoy a rejuvenation next term under imminent Italian boss Antonio Conte, after his Euro 2016 efforts come to an end.

One reported target is Sevilla holding midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, with the former Stoke City anchorman having enjoyed another strong season in Spain, as he helped Unai Emery’s men clinch the Europa League for a third straight campaign.

Conte will already have Nemanja Matic and John Mikel Obi in his inherited ranks this summer, but the Italy coach is keen on acquiring the Bathtubs battler, meaning Chelsea could splash out on the player’s £21m release clause.

Although, it’s unclear whether the ex-Blackburn Rovers midfielder would want to swap a side that will be contesting in the Champions League for one without any European football next season, but he may relish being a key member under Conte in the Premier League.
