We may only be a few days into the official summer transfer window, but several Premier League sides already have their shopping sprees in full swing. So, enjoy the sunshine on this marvellous Monday morning, and read all about the latest mooted moves with Coral’s rumour reel as Manchester United circle two young stars…

Only a Mata of time for Man Utd as Mourinho looks to Lozano

Today’s tabloid teases are heavily Old Trafford centric, with reports suggesting Jose Mourinho is about to make moves for two exciting talents.

Mexico and Pachuca winger Hirving Lozano is the player most closely linked to the Red Devils and their attacking renovations, though there have been a few mixed messages surrounding the Mexican.

“Already there are negotiations with United – there is still nothing closed though,” Pachuca vice-president Andres Fassi told press.

Though, seven-capped Lozano’s own father-in-law is reported as saying: “It’s all done. Just missing some details and then after the Olympics it becomes official.”

Either way, Man Utd have fared well with signings from Mexico in the past, with fans having fond memories of now Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez’s prolific time at the club.

Lozano, 20, is much more of a rampant wide threat than his compatriot, preferring to terrorise with his pace down the flanks, and notched 12 in all competitions for his club last campaign plus 10 assists to catch the eye.

Any more attacking incomings will surely only increase speculation doing the rounds that Spain playmaker Juan Mata is to exit Old Trafford for Everton.

The Toffees are expected to part with around £20m for the former Chelsea star, after stories emerged that new arrival Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to take the Spaniard’s squad number.

Red Devils ready for Ram raid

In further transfer news for the red half of Manchester, Derby County midfielder Hughes is also tipped to be a transfer target for the Premier League giants, despite only recently returning from a long injury lay-off.

The English conductor, now 21, has been highly lauded since he emerged as a young Ram, mainly for his calmness and composed passing. Though, rumour has it that Mourinho wishes to purchase the string-puller to add to his homegrown quota in the Northwest.

Barring any big moves, however, Man Utd already possess plenty of local academy-reared and English-born talents, making this a strange suggestion. More likely, the Mancunians may have one eye on a successor for ageing pass-masters Michael Carrick and Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Bolasie and Pelle primed for Premier League switches?

Elsewhere, there could be a couple of game-changing summer buys between Premier League sides, as clubs seek to refresh their ranks.

Crystal Palace have already laid down the transfer gauntlet by snapping up Andros Townsend and Steve Mandanda, but could now move on a high-profile Eagles man in Yannick Bolasie.

The adaptable attacking midfielder was highly coveted across the last two seasons and now Palace could cash-in, with West Ham United the party believed to be chasing the 27-year-old’s services.

While, there are now rather predictable links emerging of Chelsea’s interest in Southampton striker Graziano Pelle. The Italy international excelled under incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte at Euro 2016, scoring twice.

Poacher Pelle was first expected to move to Everton to follow former coach Ronald Koeman, but now Chelsea are apparently in the frame.

Having already poached Marseille marksman Michy Batshuayi, if the Blues added another out-and-out centre forward to their ranks like Pelle, it would certainly look as though Diego Costa’s Stamford Bridge days were numbered.
