There is a frenzy of Friday football transfer gossip to be enjoyed, so look no further for all the latest news of potential Premier League ins and outs and beyond, as Coral round up the most intriguing whispers in the rumour reel.

Today’s stars are Manchester City, with a Sky Blues blitz on the Bundesliga mooted, and a prominent pair of Germany internationals in the frame…

Double Die Mannschaft trouble for Man City

Perhaps fed up with bitter cross-town rivals Manchester United hogging the headlines due to their never ending transfer dance with Paul Pogba, Man City and Pep Guardiola are set to dip their toes back in the market in spectacular style.

The Sky Blues have already added one Germany international to their roster in the shape of deep playmaker Ilkay Gundogan, and could now descend on the Bundesliga again for a double swoop.

Die Mannschaft duo Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sane, who were both on Euro 2016 duty with Joachim Low’s lads, are said to be the Citizens’ prime targets, as Guardiola begins to build his Mancunian blueprint.

Reliable right back Pablo Zabaleta has been linked with a departure, leaving the Etihad door ajar for Bayern Munich utility man Kimmich, a player Guardiola originally signed for the Allianz Arena outfit last summer.

Adaptable Kimmich is primarily a defensive midfielder, but can operate on the right or centre of defence and played the full back role to great effect for Germany in France.

At 21 and technically neat and tidy, Kimmich would certainly fit the profile of a Guardiola target – though whether former club Bayern would part with their German prospect even for a hefty price, or sell to their former coach, remains doubtful.

Meanwhile, fellow Germany fledgling Leroy Sane’s switch from Schalke to the Sky Blues appears to be edging ever closer, but the Bundesliga club are believed to be holding out for a fee of £42m for their prize attacking asset.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, freshly promoted Hull City are wasting no time with their recruitment drive either, with tabloids claiming the Tigers have offered a cool £6m to Cardiff City for Scotland international stopper David Marshall.

The 31-year-old post protector was on-song for the Bluebirds last season, keeping 14 clean sheets in the Championship and could be brought in to booster Steve Bruce’s tilt at top-tier survival with the Humberside outfit.

While, as for potential outgoings from the English top flight, PSG appear primed to pounce for Man Utd midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, though a fee of £12m to free the Germany veteran from his Red Devils contract may be required.

Coincidentally, Italian champions Juventus are being linked with a mega money move of around £80m to pry goal machine Gonzalo Higuain from rivals Napoli, a swoop which would send shockwaves through Serie A. Could these two transfer titbits in tandem hint at Pogba progress for Jose Mourinho?
