Coral’s rumour reel

Euro 2016 will soon take centre stage as all eyes are set to be cast towards France, with the continental showpiece event kicking-off on Friday night, but many Premier League clubs are still aiming to tie up new arrivals before the tournament begins.

Aubameyang Premier League bound?

Since seeing out his PSG contract, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been playing cat-and-mouse with the world’s media in regards to a move to Manchester United, but Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 26, is now being linked with a switch the other side of the city.

Manchester City are set to be taken over by former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola this summer and the Spaniard has reportedly identified the Black and Yellows star as his ideal frontman in England’s top-flight.

Although, such a high-profile move is set to cost the Sky Blues a club record fee of around £58m, and Aubameyang’s potential arrival would see him become the second Dortmund player to make such a move after Ilkay Gundogan.

The Gabon international sharpshooter has become regarded as one of the most clinical finishers in world football following firing in 36 goals in 45 outings for Dortmund in the season gone by, helping them finish second to Guardiola’s Bavarians.

Spurs seeking Eredivisie hitman Janssen

Having fallen short in the race for the Premier League title, ultimately finishing third behind Arsenal, Tottenham will be in search of new signings to boost their prospects for next term and the Londoners have outlined an Eredivisie marksman to help their cause.

The forward in Mauricio Pochettino’s sights is AZ Alkmaar scoring sensation Vincent Janssen, with Spurs hoping to complete a £12m deal for the Netherlands international attacker this year, after he ended Eredivisie top marksman with 27 successful strikes in 34 appearances.

Despite other interest from the likes of Wolfsburg, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan, Janssen looks set to complete a move to White Hart Lane, where Pochettino will hope he can have an impact in their Champions League exploits.

The 21-year-old goal-getter reached the 30-strike mark for the recent season for both club and country, including dispatching a penalty in an international friendly victory over England in March, and he could soon be gracing the top flight for Spurs after a rampant rise to prominence.

Klopp makes Mane a target

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was recently pictured overseeing Gonzalo Higuain’s performances for Argentina at the Copa America, but the German coach has reportedly outlined Southampton winger Sadio Mane as a target.

The Reds would be expected to fork over at least £30m for the Saints wideman though, with the Senegalese star having fired in 15 goals in all competitions for his current club, which could soon lose another pivotal player to the Anfield outfit, following the likes of Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren.

Southampton’s 24-year-old attacker would provide Liverpool with a great deal of pace and creativity from the wide areas next season, though they could reportedly face competition for his signature from rivals Man Utd.
