Rumour Reel: Wilson to Everton while Saints to pounce for Parejo?

Ronald Koeman looks keen to strengthen his attacking options in January, with Callum Wilson to Everton linked on today’s back pages.

The Bournemouth hitman has reportedly impressed scouts this term and could be heading to Merseyside.

Wilson to Everton?

Reports suggest the Goodison Park outfit are ready to rival Premier League strugglers West Ham United for the Cherries striker.

Wilson has scored five in 15 outings this term and, at just 24, is seen as a long term centre forward option by both clubs.

According to reports, Koeman admires Wilson’s ability to link up with fellow attacking players and is intrigued by how he could combine with Romelu Lukaku.

Wilson signed a new contract in July that stretches to 2020 and would cost in excess of £20m, especially is the Hammers enter a bidding war.

Saints to pounce for Parejo?

Southampton have reportedly been eyeing Valencia’s Dani Parejo for a while now, and this coming winter window could see their interest materialise.

The 27-year-old, yet to make a senior appearance for Spain, could be part of a major squad overhaul at Valencia, as manager Cesare Prandelli looks to shake things up.

Peter Lim’s Spanish club have reportedly made it clear Parejo is up for sale, but Saints will have to rival Inter Milan, Sevilla and Monaco to seal his signature.

Gunners to sign Schendelaar?

Once a problem position for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal, Petr Cech seems to have settle the Emirates outfit’s stopper uncertainty, but that hasn’t stopped the club from looking to the future.

Gunners have reportedly entered initial talks in hope of a swift deal for AZ Alkmaar youngster Jasper Schendelaar, still yet to make yet to make a first-team appearance for the Dutch side.

Schendelaar, 16, represents Netherlands at Under-17 level and is contracted to his current club until the summer of 2019.
