Returning trainer Dickinson 16-1 to add to his Beeders’ Cup tally

Published:

Dual Breeders’ Cup winning trainer Michael Dickinson is 16-1 with Coral to add to his Breeders’ Cup tally this year or next, following the news that the former UK champion jumps trainer is to resume his career.

The 65-y-o is 33-1 to train a Royal Ascot winner next summer, while he is 66-1 to have a winner in 2016 on either the Wolverhampton or Newcastle tapeta surfaces that he developed.

“Michael Dickinson is no stranger to making racing history, dating back to his first five home in the 1983 Cheltenham Gold Cup, and we look forward to seeing what this latest chapter in his training career brings, although it is perhaps a long shot that we’ll see him sending runners to one of the UK’s tapeta tracks next year,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
