Swans could be about to take flight…

The dust has barely settled on Swansea City’s relegation and the Premier League vultures are already circling.

Reports have linked some Swans stars with moves away from the South Wales outfit. And it seems the Championship club could be about to receive a hefty windfall for their talent.

The Coral News Team look at their of the aces who’ll move likely be on the move…

Alfie Mawson

One player whose reputation has soared despite Swansea’s relegation is Alfie Mawson. The 24-year-old centre-half has excelled at the heart of the defence.

And the Swans can expect to packet up to and possibly over £24m for the Uxbridge native.

Having played six times for the England U-21s, Mawson was called up to the senior squad for the games against the Netherlands and Italy back in March.

West Ham United and Southampton have all been strongly linked with a move for the former Barnsley man.

Lukasz Fabianski

Another star performer in a dreary campaign, Fabianksi has finally earned his stripes as a star Premier League number one.

Arsene Wenger was quite correct in his original assertion that the Polish keeper was of top quality. And although he didn’t get the chance to blossom at the Emirates, his star has shone at the Liberty Stadium.

Surprisingly, the former Legia Warsaw stopper is 33-years-old now. But he’s got at least another four years of top-flight football left in him. Watford, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, and West Ham are all said to be monitoring him.

The Ayew brothers

Surely Andre and Jordan Ayew won’t be left hanging on the shelf for too long? Of the pair, Jordan arguably had the better campaign.

The former Villa man scored 11 goals and bagged two assists over the course of the season. However, the 26-year-old now has the unwanted tag of ending up in a relegated team in three of the last four seasons. And that may be a stat which puts off prospective new clubs.

His elder brother Andre managed just six goals and four assists this term. He’s had a disappointing couple of seasons since his initial move to England.

But the Ayews do have that enigmatic style and dynamism about them. And someone like Brighton and Hove Albion could be tempted into a move.
