This weekend was supposed to host the biggest game in club football – the Champions League final.
Before the tournament was put on hold, there were technically two Premier League teams still with a chance of reaching the quarter-finals.
It was only a very slim possibility for Chelsea, who lost 3-0 to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their last-16 meeting.
But Manchester City would have been confident of reaching the next stage. They were 2-1 up against Real Madrid after a commanding display in the Bernabeu.
City have never reached the Champions League final before. Will this be their year when the tournament returns?
