A Coral punter from Birmingham has scooped £141,370 after correctly picking six winners at Chelmsford and Meydan on Thursday.
The winner struck a £2 Lucky 63 bet which involves a six-selection accumulator, five-folds, four-folds, trebles, doubles and singles.
After correctly predicting a winner at Meydan and four in a row from Chelmsford, it was down to 5/1 shot Mercury in the final race at the Essex racecourse. The runner won by just over 1l from 9/4 shot Pulsating to guarantee a mega win for the speculative customer.
The winnings included a £20,000 bonus due to the best odds guarantee concession Coral was offering on the card at Chelmsford.
Coral spokesman John Hill commented: “We have to tip our hats off to the customer here as it is no easy feat correctly predicting six winners in one evening on the same bet and in the majority of the races they had taken on the favourite which proved to be a wise move.
“Due to our best odds guaranteed concession, the customer actually won an additional £20,000 as in some of the races the starting price of the horse was bigger than when they took the early price. We are sure the customer is going to have a fantastic Christmas after landing this early present,” added Hill.
