Two punters scoop a share of 25K for free with Coral
25K up for grabs with the Coral Racing Super Series
Last weekend’s Coral Racing Super Series game saw two Coral customers share the £25,000 prize, each scooping £12,500 for free.
The two winners correctly predicted horses to finish in the placings in the seven selected races on the game.
One of which was David Thurman from Cambridgeshire, a big racing fan. He explained his process of picking his horses.
“I knew it was going to be heavy ground last weekend so I looked for horses who would act on the going. Fortunately, it proved to be a lucky day for me.”
One of David’s earliest racing memories was Mon Fils victory in the 2000 Guineas in 1973. Ever since then, he has followed the sport.
He said: “I love my racing and I’ve been to all but six racecourses in the UK. Kelso, Perth, Catterick, Wetherby, Hexham and Newcastle are the ones I’ve yet to tick off, but I’ll certainly look to do so in 2022.
“I’ve also managed to visit Kenilworth in South Africa when I was on holiday there, my wife and I always look to go on holiday to coincide with race meetings at our location.”
David enters the free-to-play Coral Racing Super Series game every week and he is planning to upgrade his car with his winnings.
“I was nervous watching the final race of the game, as I knew I was in contention, but I did not know how many people were still involved.
“My car really needs an upgrade, so this money has come at exactly the right time for me. I am so pleased and it has been an excellent start to the year,” said the big-money winner.
On last weekend’s game, customers had to pick selections from races at Sandown and Wincanton.
Despite some surprising results to those races, David and one other Coral customer navigated their way through those contests.
“From speaking to David, it was so clear how passionate he is about horse racing. This money will help him complete his goal of visiting every racecourse in the UK, and he now looks set to purchase a new car to help him get to them,” said Coral spokesman, John Hill.
“The Coral Racing Super Series is a free-to-play game and it is an opportunity for our customers to scoop a share of 25k every Saturday,” added Hill.
There will be £25,000 up for grabs once again on Saturday January 15 on the Coral Racing Super Series. It is free to enter today at www.coral.co.uk.
