And there’s the South Coast derby too

There’s local pride at stake and ramifications at both ends of the table in Sunday’s Premier League fixtures.

Bournemouth host Southampton in the South Coast derby to kick proceedings off. Then Manchester City face West Ham United as they look to extend their winning run to 13 league games.

Ahead of the action, here are the Coral News Team with all the info and tips you need.

Bournemouth v Southampton (1:30pm)

As well as bragging rights, both sides will be looking to use the derby to build some momentum heading into the Christmas period.

Bournemouth have only won one of their last three games. Saints are on a run of one win in five.

The Cherries are 2/1 to win here. Southampton are 6/4 to pick up the points and it’s 21/10 for a stalemate.

It’s hard to choose between the two teams for this one. Bournemouth have only won twice at home this season, while Southampton have only beaten bottom-of-the-table Crystal Palace on the road. Draw and Both Teams to Score could return a healthy profit at 17/5.

Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson leads the way in the Scorer markets. He’s 9/2 to score First.

Man City v West Ham (4:00pm)

City have swept aside virtually every team in their path so far this season. They’ve won all but one of their games in all competitions (including penalties). Their only blemish was a draw against Everton, when they played with ten men for the whole second half.

All of that is to say that a 1/10 home win looks like a banker when West Ham visit the Etihad Stadium. The Hammers are huge 28/1 outsiders and the draw is 10/1.

David Moyes’ arrival doesn’t seem to have made much difference to the Hammers so far. They were thrashed 4-0 at Everton in midweek.

It looks like a case of how many City will win by. They’ve already scored 44 goals this season and West Ham have the worst defence in the top flight (30 goals conceded).

City to Win to Nil is 4/5. There could be more value in backing Raheem Sterling to Score and City to Win at 23/20. The England star is the club’s top scorer with 13 goals this season.
