Five Premier League club top scorers tips

There’s much more to top scorer betting with Coral than just the Premier League Golden Boot outright, as punters can now peruse individual leading marksman markets for each English top-flight club.

The top tier season kicks off good and proper next weekend so, with a raft of exciting additions to the division this summer, expect a slew of strikes.

Our football experts have picked out five Premier League club top scorers tips, so see below for a quintet of best value bets…

Georginio Wijnaldum(Liverpool)

With that in mind there is much value to be had on the Reds’ roster of excellent attacking midfielders instead. There are plenty of goals in the quartet of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum.

It is the latter Dutch dangerman that looks most tempting, as new signings Wijnaldum and Mane scored the most of the aforementioned four with 11 league goals apiece the previous season.

Yet, the former Newcastle United man edges Mane (5/1) due to both his generous 25/1 price to poach the most for Jurgen Klopp, and considering he played for a much weaker team last term – making his haul all the more impressive.

Ahmed Musa (Leicester City)

Musa is fresh from bagging a spectacular pre-season brace against Spanish giants Barcelona, showing Foxes fans he has the quality to be Jamie Vardy’s foil – or will it be the other way around?

At 29, there are questions as to whether Vardy can replicate his scoring feats or be a one-season wonder. Either way, now the scoring burden should be shared, with 23-year-old bullish frontman Musa having struck 13 times in his most recent league season for former club CSKA Moscow.

Mame Biram Diouf (Stoke City)

Yet, there is always the feeling of more to come from threatening forward Diouf, who led the scoring in his first Stoke season before compassionate leave and injury thwarted his impact somewhat last term.

Raring to go now, and in good pre-season form, this is one attacker that should not be overlooked.

Jordan Rhodes (Middlesbrough)

Having worked his way back up from the lower leagues, the Scotland international now finally has a shot at the top-flight and is a tempting 5/2 to top score for the promoted Teesside team.

Rival Alvaro Negredo failed to set the English league alight on his last attempt with Manchester City, while Viktor Fischer and Cristhian Stuani will be expected to act in more creative, supporting roles – meaning backing rampant Rhodes is a no-brainer.

Charlie Austin (Southampton)

Austin arrived at St Mary’s last season in the winter transfer window, but now has the chance to get a full season and more game time under his belt – so expect the Englishman to perform in line with his last Premier League campaign for QPR, when he notched 18. Take odds of 6/4 for Austin to be Southampton’s top league scorer.
