The Toffees have struggled this year but managed to win back-to-back games before the international break. Although, with the Saints having witnessed star striker Graziano Pelle return to goalscoring form, Ronald Koeman’s men should be able to make a winning return after the break.

Leicester v West Ham – Draw
Nigel Pearson’s Foxes are running out of games in able to secure enough points to stay up, having gone eight consecutive league fixtures without a victory. However, the hosts can take confidence from the Hammers’ away form, as they have gone seven matches without a win on their travels.

Swansea v Hull – Away win
Steve Bruce’s Tigers are in poor form and are without a league triumph in four outings, while the Swans toppled Aston Villa in their previous top-flight fixture. Swansea are unlikely to catch seventh placed Spurs, after falling 10 points behind the Londoners in eighth, and could again slip up as Hull aim for to secure vital points.

West Brom v QPR – Home win
The visitors have won only one league game on their travels all season, while the Baggies are on a run of three consecutive home victories without conceding a goal. Tony Pulis’ men should see off any threat from QPR to continue that impressive run of form at The Hawthorns.

Leeds v Blackburn – Home win
The hosts have not beaten Blackburn since April 2004 and are three places below their opponents in the Championship table. However, having lost just two of their previous six home games, Leeds look set to overcome Gary Bowyer’s Rovers.

Reading v Cardiff – Away win
The Bluebirds have triumphed in three of their past four battles with the Royals, and not been vanquished on their travels since January. Cardiff have also won two of their last three outings and sit a snug seven points above hosts Reading.

Sheffield Wednesday v Huddersfield – Home win
Huddersfield have failed to take all three points from any of their last six duels, and have not won on the road in their past four attempts. The Owls, meanwhile, could welcome back frontmen Will Keane and Sergiu Bus for the clash.

Fiorentina v Sampdoria – Away win
Viola may play vibrant football but have already fallen to sturdy Samp this season, and have beaten the Genoese team just twice in their last eight encounters. The visitors are also in formidable form after enjoying four triumphs on the trot.

Malaga v Real Sociedad – Draw
Sociedad are a solid outfit under David Moyes and have lost just one of their last seven tussles, while Malaga have suffered two losses in their past three. The Anchovies’ attack against Basque boys Sociedad’s steel should make for a close clash.

Rangers v Hearts – Away win
Hearts are already confirmed as winners of the Scottish Championship, with an enormous 25-point lead over third place Rangers. The Jambos have already done the double over their hosts this season, and are on an impressive nine-game winning streak.

Burnley v Tottenham – Away win
Spurs are unbeaten in three meetings across all competitions with the Clarets this term, winning two of those, so Mauricio Pochettino’s men should come away from Turf Moor with three points.

Sunderland v Newcastle – Home win
The Black Cats are on a hot streak of four derby day victories on the bounce. Newcastle have nothing to play for and Dick Advocaat is by far the more desperate for a result. Back Sunderland to get the better of their Tyneside rivals once more.

Marseille v PSG – Home win
As French champions PSG are on a magnificent run of six successive Le Classique wins, and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring three times during the international break, there is little hope for Marcelo Bielsa’s boys despite home advantage here.

Wolves v Leeds – Draw
Neil Redfearn’s side have really raised their game when playing top eight sides this term and, although they’re away at Molineux, the Whites can certainly do so again to pinch a point.

Crystal Palace v Man City – Away win
There is a clear gulf in class which home advantage for Alan Pardew’s Eagles will not be able to bridge. Palace have lost all of the last seven head-to-heads with Man City, so Manuel Pellegrini’s men look like an away banker.
