Lewis Hamilton odds-on to win seventh F1 world title this year
Brit could equal Michael Schumacher’s record
Lewis Hamilton is odds-on to win his seventh Formula One world title this year.
The Mercedes driver enjoyed a stunning 2019, finishing top of the pile for the third consecutive year to go within one title of Schumacher.
And our traders believe he could go all the way again, pricing him at 4/9 to win his seventh title.
“Lewis Hamilton is odds-on to level Michael Schumacher’s
record of seven world title this year,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“With the Austrian Grand Prix now set to be the season opener, Hamilton is the
favourite in the betting to begin the campaign with a victory.”
F1 bosses plan to start the season in Austria in July if circumstances allow and Hamilton is 15/8 to win the opener.
And he’ll face stiff competition for the world title from the likes of Max Verstappen, who is going at 5/1, while Valtteri Bottas can be backed at 11/2.
