We’re offering odds on 29 matches on Friday

While many sports are postponing or cancelling fixtures, we’ve seen plenty of Coral customers turn their attention to Esports.

Our traders are offering odds on 29 matches on Friday, across nine different competitions on League of Legends, CounterStrike: Global Offensive or Dota.

We offer plenty of markets for each match, with many familiar to anyone who’s bet on football, including Match Betting, Correct Score and Handicap betting.

The matches are streamed live on Twitch and are hugely popular – they can attract around 50,000 viewers at any given point.

Team Envy take on Brazilian team MIBR in CS:GO action at 17:00 on Friday. We’ve got MIBR as 8/13 favourites, with a 2-0 MIBR win going for 7/4. You can back Team Envy at 6/5.

League of Legends fans have even more markets to choose from, including which team will slay the next dragon or destroy the next tower.

“We still do have a host of events for our customers to bet on, and among the less traditional events we are taking bets on, Esports is one of the biggest growing markets right now.  We are offering markets on matches taking place across the globe each day in games like CounterStrike and League of Legends,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

“With the matches free to watch online via the respective teams’ online accounts, up to and above 50,000 people will be watching games and it can provide punters with an exciting and fun opportunity to get one over the bookies!” added Aitkenhead.
