There’s more virtual boxing and FIFA Quaranteam, as well as League of Legends and Counter Strike action

The world of Esports continues this weekend, with plenty of exciting events on offer.

We’ve reached the semi-final stage of the eWBSS boxing tournament, while football clubs around the world continue to compete to be crowned the Ultimate Quaranteam champion.

And we’ve taken a look at the weekend’s best fixtures throughout Esports…

Virtual boxing

The second semi-final of the virtual boxing tournament takes place on Saturday night, with eMike Tyson taking on eGeorge Foreman.

The legendary pair will battle it out for a place in Sunday’s final, where the winner will face either eMuhammad Ali or eJoe Frazier, who meet on Friday.

Tyson is the clear pre-fight favourite at 1/6, with Foreman priced at 7/2 to reach the final.

Ultimate Quaranteam

With the latest round of games taking place on Friday night, only one of the weekend’s fixtures has been confirmed.

Tournament favourites Middlesbrough host Central Coast Mariners at 11:00 on Saturday morning. Boro have impressed throughout the tournament and are 8/11 to progress, with their opponents the longshot at 12/5.

Middlesbrough are currently 5/1 to go all the way in the tournament but they’ll face stiff competition, with the likes of Manchester City and Wolves still in contention.

League of Legends

There are seven League of Legends competitions taking place over the weekend, including the recently resumed European Championship.

Rogue are the 2/5 favourites to beat Schalke, while exceL Esports will be hoping to avoid a potential banana skin against SK gaming, who are 9/4 for a surprise win.

In the Legends Japan League, Sengoku Gaming are 6/1 to beat clear favourites DetonatioN FM, who are going at 1/10.

In the same league, Crest Gaming Act face V3 Esports on Sunday morning.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive

We’ve got action from three leagues on Saturday, with Team Dignitas 6/5 for an upset against Gen.G in Flashpoint. Meanwhile, MIBR are 4/11 to beat Orgless, who are priced at 2/1.

There are three matches in the ESL Pro League, kicking off at 13:00 with G2 Esports against TyLoo, who are 6/1 underdogs.

And there are two fixtures in the Megogo Open. Unique take on Hard Legion before Bogatiri face 1WIN.

What else is on?
