Olympic football is on the verge of the knockout stage as each nation prepares for their respective final group games in Rio, including host nation Brazil and world champions Germany.
With all four groups concluding on Wednesday, Coral provide punters with tips for all eight games taking place on Brazilian soil in midweek.
So, read on to find out the best bets to choose for these midweek clashes…
Argentina to topple Honduras to nil
Argentina have collided with Honduras twice before and prevailed on both occasions, most recently securing a 1-0 victory in May of this year, and they will need a third straight fixture success here to boost progression chances.
La Albiceleste are four-time Olympics medallists, having earned Silver back in 1928 and 1996, while they more recently gained Gold in 2004 and 2008.
They presently sit in third position of Group D behind leaders Portugal and second-placed Honduras, so a result is needed in order to progress and they can be backed at 11/8 with Coral to triumph without conceding.
Portugal to sink three or more past Algeria
Portugal, who won Euro 2016 earlier this summer, have already booked their place in the next round of the Olympics, as they currently sit atop Group D with six points from their opening two outings.
The Navigators have secured victories over Argentina and Honduras so far in the tournament and will be confident of earning a third consecutive win against Algeria, who are yet to gain a single point yet.
So, in their third group outing and ahead of a guaranteed spot in the knockout stage, dominant force Portugal are a promising 6/1 to overcome their latest opponents by three or more goals.
Germany to thrash poor Fiji by eight
Germany have so far drawn their first two Group C clashes against Mexico and South Korea but, against a poor Fiji outfit who have conceded 13 goals in two games, they are overwhelming favourites to gain three points.
Die Mannschaft are ranked 183 places above their next opponents in the official standings and will enter this first ever competitive fixture meeting at 17/2 to hand Fiji another 8-0 trouncing, having earlier endured such a heavy defeat to South Korea.
South Korea and Mexico to play out stalemate
A victory for either nation here would guarantee top spot in Group C after three games, though a draw may be enough to see both South Korea and Mexico through to the next stage.
With that in mind, a stalemate between the pair is 12/5 to occur, a result which could see Germany exit the Games if they do not rally to a mammoth scoreline against minnows Fiji.
Colombia to suffer loss to in-form Nigeria
The Colombians have never lost to Nigeria in four outings, having prevailed on three occasions and drawn once, but their African opponents have been in impressive form in Brazil and currently top Group B.
After two wins from their opening couple of games in Rio, Nigeria are a promising 9/2 to topple Colombia for the first time, having dispatched both Japan (5-4) and Sweden (1-0) so far to sit pretty atop their standings.
Japan and Sweden to share spoils
The previous fixture history between Japan and Sweden couldn’t be closer, with each country having prevailed once and the other three of five total match-ups having ended level.
Both nations have acquired just a single point each so far on Brazilian soil and all signs are pointing towards another sharing of the spoils here, and a draw can be backed between the two at 14/5.
Brazil to down Denmark in goalfest
Host nation Brazil go into their final Group A game in need of a strong result to cement their progression to the knockout stage on home soil, having so far drawn both their opening outings against Iraq and South Africa.
With mercurial skipper and Barcelona superstar Neymar leading their line, among many other talents, the Samba Boys are 12/5 to overcome Denmark in a game with over 3.5 goals scored in total.
South Africa and Iraq set for stalemate
Neither South Africa or Iraq have managed to obtain a win so far in Rio as they prepare to collide in their final Group A encounter, though it’s the latter nation that sit narrowly ahead in third position.
The two teams have only ever met once before and that clash ended all square and, with neither outfit having shown any real attacking intent so far, another draw can be backed at 2/1 to happen here.
