Brit is odds-on to win in Australia too
Coral has slashed the odds on Lewis Hamilton winning the 2018 F1 World Drivers’ Championship to 1/2 (having been 5/6 a week ago).
Hamilton is now 4/6 to win Sunday’s Australian Grand Prix, having been 11/10 earlier in the week.
The movement comes after the four-time world champion topped both of Friday’s practice sessions.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “It’s clear that our punters are convinced that Lewis will become only the third man to win five World Championships and at the moment they’re backing him like any other outcome is out of the question.”
