Coral now makes it just 11/4 that Gareth Bale signs for Tottenham in the summer transfer window after a flurry of bets.
Manchester United had previously been installed as the 2/1 favourites to be the Welshman’s next club.
But Jose Mourinho looks less likely to make a move now, having swooped for Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal back in January.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Manchester United’s capture of Sanchez could well mean they look to strengthen other areas of their side and a return to Tottenham is beginning to look increasingly likely for Gareth Bale.”
Real Madrid star Bale has endured a difficult season in Spain, and rumours persist that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit will move heaven and Earth to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
