Odds cut on Enrique to succeed Conte at Chelsea
Published:Italian could be quitting west London
Coral has cut the odds on Luis Enrique being the next Chelsea manager to 6-4 (from 2-1) following strong support since opening the market.
Beleaguered current boss Antonio Conte’s days seem numbered and former managers Guus Hiddink (4-1) and Carlo Ancelotti (5-1) are also in the frame.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said:” “Following Chelsea’s dismal defeat at Watford we opened betting on The Blues next manager and it’s been one way traffic ever since. It’s clear that some punters think Luis Enrique taking over is a done deal.”
Speculation has risen over Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge after the Blues lost heavily to Bournemouth and Watford.
