Neymar’s three-year spell in the French capital withParis Saint-Germain could be ending this summer, with the Brazilian forward now6/4 to return to Barcelona.
The 28-year-old moved to PSG for a world record transfer feeof £200m from the Catalan club in the summer of 2017.
Recent reports suggest the Brazilian is willing to take a50% pay cut to rejoin Barcelona, but it remains to be seen whether thefinancial impact of the coronavirus crisis could restrict the club’s transferbudget.
Coral’s John Hill said: “The betting now clearly points toNeymar returning to the Nou Camp to sign for the Spanish giants.”
“With some reports suggesting Neymar is happy to take a paycut to rejoin Barcelona, his odds have been cut to complete that move laterthis year,” added Hill.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid are 8/1 to finally secure his signature after many attempts, despite signing Eden Hazard last summer. Manchester City can be found at 16s, with Liverpool and Bayern Munich out at 20s.
Newcastle United could look for a marquee signing this summer too if their takeover goes through as expected. The Magpies are 25/1 to make Neymar the headline act at St James’ Park.
