Newmarket tips for Thursday: She Is No Lady to bloom in Rose Bowl

She Is No Lady ready to rock in Rose Bowl
She Is No Lady disappointed last time out but looks decent value to bounce back and land the Listed 2m Jockey Club Rose Bowl on the opening day of Newmarket’s Cambridgeshire meeting (16.15).
The Ralph Beckett trained filly could finish only 14th of 20 to Heartbreak City in the Ebor at York when sent off the heavily-backed 4/1 favourite, but prior to that race had run a stormer to finish second to Sandra Boticelli at this level in the Coral Marathon at Sandown.
After being held-up at the rear, She Is No Lady made stealthy headway two from home before throwing down a strong and persistent challenge inside last to be beaten just a short-head.
It was a really game effort and the four-year-old has some useful types in behind, including the re-opposing Fun Mac who trailed in a well-beaten 10th.
The form of that race reads extremely well in the context of this contest and with Fran Berry now taking over in the saddle She Is No Lady can prove her Ebor running to be all wrong and land a fourth career success.
Shakopee can strike for in-form Luca
Trainer Luca Cumani has his team in fine form and Shakopee can defy top weight to provide him with another winner in the 1m 4f handicap (16.50).
The gelding looked one to keep onside when showing a smart turn of foot to easily land a 1m 2f contest at Doncaster back in July and confirmed that impression when an unlucky second to Barsanti in a hot 15-runner handicap at York on his penultimate outing.
After being held-up well off the pace, Shakopee was making smooth headway when denied a clear run a furlong from home and after being forced to switch finished with a real rattle to be gaining all the way to the line.
It was a fine effort given how the race panned out and this is arguably a weaker contest.
Although disappointing last time out when last at Haydock, Shakopee was totally unsuited by the testing conditions and a return to a firmer surface is likely to see him in a far better light.
Order has a Great chance of landing hat-trick
Great Order has a progressive profile and can make light of a rise in the weights to land the 1m handicap (17.20).
The Godolphin owned three-year-old has won his last two starts in tremendous style and looked way ahead of the assessor when beating Jacbequick by 1 1/4 lengths at Ascot earlier in the month.
After losing stacks of ground when rearing at the start and slowly away, Great Order recovered quickly and made stealthy headway a furlong from home to take up the running inside the last and win going away.
The son of Distorted Humour was value for much more than the winning margin given how the race unfolded and a 4lb rise in the weights looks extremely lenient.
Great Order shapes like a potential pattern performer in the making, and if that is to be the case he should be up to winning this off a revised rating of 93.
