If you’re familiar with Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, you’ll realise from the opening video that Felix – our feline champion – is the Hunter S. Thompson of the cat world. He’s the star of the show in Cat In Vegas, the brand new slot themed around the virtues – and vices – of the gritty world of Las Vegas.
With five reels, three rows and twenty paylines, Cat In Vegas sports the famous Las Vegas strip that you’ll recognise from the movies – or from real life experience, if you’re lucky enough.
There are three high-value symbols to be found in this slot, all of which pay out the most from a general five symbol sequence:
* Felix holding a poker chip – pays out 1500x your stake.
* Felix holding a wad of cash – pays out 1000x your stake.
* Felix holding a cocktail – pays out 500x your stake
Also included are the general card value symbols, which range from Ace to 10. Matching five of these will pay out a maximum of 100x your stake.
Of course, like every slot on the planet, Cat In Vegas contains a wild symbol – which is a huge golden wild. Striking one of these will replace any symbol on the board.
Bonus Games and Scatter Symbols
Most importantly, this game contains three scatter symbols – which are triggered by them landing anywhere on the board (they don’t have to be on the same payline).
* The King Show: Trigger this bonus by landing three ‘King Show’ symbols anywhere on the central reels (2, 3 or 4). This will initiate an Elvis style show where Felix will award the player with up to twenty free spins and five sticky wilds. Felix will then dance, throwing sticky wilds on to the reels whilst you enjoy the show – or not, if you’re not a fan of cats who impersonate Elvis.
* Wheel of Luck: Just one of these symbols is needed to trigger this bonus. Once you land the ‘Wheel of Luck’ symbol – which, funnily enough, looks like the cash wheel from The Price Is Right – Felix will give it a spin and the player will be rewarded with a cash bonus of up to 20x their stake.
* Vegas Slots Bonus: This bonus can be triggered by matching three of these symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. This starts the ‘Vegas Slots Bonus’ which awards multipliers from miniature slot machines.
