Tizzard team a triumph
Hailing from a yard that boasts roughly a running to form rate of 66 per cent this month (November 1-16), Cue Card scooped Betfair Chase glory last year by seven lengths.
Following up with a game success in the King George VI Chase by a neck from Vautour, Cue Card was then desperately unlucky to fall three from home when racing prominently in the Cheltenham Gold Cup at the Festival this past March.
The Tizzard trained 10-year-old bounced back with a storming success at the Betfred Bowl at Aintree’s Grand National meeting a few weeks later, however, romping to victory by nine lengths.
