Nations League betting tips: Four best bets for Tuesday

The countdown is on to the World Cup 2022 but before then the group stage of the Nations League has to be completed.
The final round of matches takes place tonight and we have Nations League odds betting tips for four of the best matches.
Greece v Northern Ireland
After finally ending their long winless run in this competition with a victory over Kosovo on Saturday, Northern Ireland will be hoping to build momentum but there is much more on the line than that.
They were still celebrating their 2-1 win when the scoreline from Larnaca came through to dampen the mood – Cyprus’ surprise 1-0 win over Greece kept them level with Northern Ireland and still locked in a battle to avoid the bottom spot in the group and the prospect of a relegation play-off in March 2024.
Ian Baraclough’s men need to avoid defeat to be certain of steering clear of trouble but that victory for Cyprus at least raised obvious questions over Northern Ireland’s hosts.

Gus Poyet’s side swept to four victories in June to secure top place in the group and a ticket to League B, but were well off that form in Larnaca, although Poyet said it was just an off night rather than a sign of bigger problems.
They will be keen to bounce back quickly and with Northern Ireland’s poor record in this competition, a home win at 20/21 is an easy pick for the first of our Nations League betting tips.
Portugal v Spain
Portugal only need a point to qualify for the finals at the expense of their Iberian rivals and recent history suggests that is exactly what they will get.
The last five meetings between these two teams have all been drawn, with three of them finishing goalless.
Saturday’s 4-0 victory over the Czech Republic in Prague was an impressive Portugal performance and they will head into the game full of confidence.
Spain performed better than their 2-1 defeat against Switzerland suggested but we’re not convinced they have the quality to get the win they need so a draw is the obvious choice at 11/5.
Ukraine v Scotland
Scotland are two points ahead of Ukraine at the top of the table and need just a draw to gain promotion to League A.
Their World Cup hopes were ended by a 3-1 defeat against Ukraine in June but Scotland gained some revenge with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday and are now looking to finish the job in Krakow but boss Steve Clarke has plenty of problems to deal with.
A goal from Super John McGinn and a brace from substitute Lyndon Dykes saw Scotland beat Ukraine and take all three points to go top of Group B1.

Scott McTominay is suspended while injuries to Andy Robertson, Kieran Tierney and Nathan Patterson mean all the first-choice full-backs are ruled out.
That will boost Ukraine’s hopes as they push for the victory they need but Scotland have been scoring plenty of goals recently so both teams to score, over 2.5 goals and either team to win appeals in the #YourCall market at 7/4.
Republic of Ireland v Armenia
Ireland boss Stephen Kenny set out on his second Nations League adventure targeting the top spot in Group B1 and the Euro 2024 play-off berth it would have secured.
Defeat in their opening two games in Armenia and at home to Ukraine put paid to that ambition, and although victory over Scotland and a point in the return against the Ukrainians suggested there may be better to come, Saturday’s 2-1 defeat in Glasgow means relegation is a possibility.
They kick off a point ahead of Armenia so must secure at least a draw. Sweltering temperatures did not help them in the reverse fixture but more favourable conditions tonight should suit.
Armenia’s four losses in the group have all been by more than one goal so 21/20 for Ireland to win by at least two goals completes our Nations League betting tips today.
