The eyes of British football will be on Leicester’s return to Spain on Wednesday, with the English side expected to struggle, but if you’re a lover of the beautiful game, the fixture over in Germany will take some ignoring.

Two giants of European football, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, face-off at the Allianz Arena in the usual 7.45pm slot, live on BT Sport. Football fans can kick-back and enjoy a feast of football, and a great advert for the Champions League, but if you’d rather get involved, Coral have everything you need. Real Madrid target four in-a-row

This will be the 23rd meeting of these sides in competitive action, with the head-to-head stats reading 11 wins for Munich, nine for Real and a pair of draws. The La Liga giants have made strides towards evening that up in recent years however, and jet in to Germany on Wednesday having won each of the last three. Los Blancos spanked Bayern 4-0 when the pair last crossed paths in April 2014, at this very venue, Ronaldo and Ramos helping themselves to a double each. That was the second Real win to nil on the bounce, and Coral will give you a massive 8/1 about the hat-trick. Madrid to win, regardless of the score, is 10/3 with us.

Bayern Munich warmed up for this meeting by slapping down Borussia Dortmund 4-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday. That kept their lead at the top of the division at 10 points, with Ribery and Robben scoring, while Lewandowki bagged a brace. Bayern made it to this stage of the competition with a stunning 10-2 aggregate win over Arsenal, winning both legs with a 5-1 score. Polish striker Lewandowski netted in each leg, and he’s 14/5 to strike first on Wednesday, or 5/6 to score any time. Coral traders are offering a special bet which should appeal, if you fancy the locals – Bayern Munich to win and both teams to score at 5/2.

Leicester to keep themselves in the tie

Leicester City’s Champions League adventure continues when meeting Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon Stadium, live on BT Sport. Leicester have never beaten their hosts in four previous attempts, and left Spain following a 2-1 loss to Sevilla in the last round, Vardy scoring a goal that kept his side in it, and eventually saw them through. The Foxes overturned the deficit at the King Power, clinching their place in history courtesy of a 2-0 win, Morgan and Albrighton netting on that famous night. Under new boss Craig Shakespeare the English reps are an improved side since their last visit, winning five of their last six league goes. They have scored 15 goals in that period, and backing both teams to score here will net you 13/10, while Leicester are 7/2 to qualify, behind Atletico at 1/5.

The hosts have won each of their last two meetings with Leicester on home turf, 2-0 and 2-1. They are also unbeaten in seven La Liga outings, but had to settle for a draw last time out, ending 1-1 with Real Madrid. Pep put Real ahead on Saturday, with a late reply from Griezmann breaking off a share. Diego Simeone’s men also finished level in their last start at this level, ending 0-0 with Bayer Leverkusen at home, although they had done enough in Germany to go through 4-2. Another draw, that would feel like a win for Leicester, is 9/2 with us, while a home win can be added to your accas at 2/7. The 3/1 on Atletico to win and both teams to score looks a gift, and goes as our play in the match.
