Mrs Brown’s Boys odds-on to top Christmas Day TV ratings

Leading bookmaker Coral make Mrs Brown’s Boys the odds-on favourite at 4-6 to top the TV ratings on Christmas Day for another year and it has been the best backed programme to do so with the firm.
Downton Abbey, which is set for its finale, is second best in the betting at 4-1 to have the most viewers on Christmas Day, Eastenders is 9-2 and Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special is 8-1.
“After strong support in the betting, Mrs Brown’s Boys is now odds-on to top the Christmas Day TV ratings for another year. We expect Downton Abbey and Eastenders to be up near the top of the standings, however, it would be a surprise if they topped Mrs Brown’s Boys,” said Coral’s John Hill.
