It was originally invented to demonstrate why monopolies are dangerous, but now has the sole purpose of destroying families. Many a coffee table has been flipped, and many trade embargoes have been written up, but did you know that there’s a way to avoid all this.

Monopoly Big Event – High Rollers Paradise

On opening this slot game you’ll quickly realise that Monopoly Big Event is a high quality slot game. They’ve done a brilliant job getting the soundtrack and graphics just right. It has that 60s swing feel that we all love, although after a while it does seem like you’ve been stuck in an elevator. The rich red overlay with the original board game faintly in the background is a nice touch, and the overall layout is nice to the eye.

You can change the stake with the ‘+/-‘ symbols in the top left hand corner, which changes the stake per line. It’s good to note that you can’t change the paylines, just the bet. The help button sits in the top right hand corner of the screen, above the big bet button (we’ll discuss that later), and the spin button is placed in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Your balance is place center-left, with the total win center-right.

Bonus features

This five-reel, 20 payline slot game comes packed with plenty of awesome bonus features. Essentially though, they all utilise the big bet feature. You have two options with this feature – £20 spins, or £30 spins. With the £20 spin you get a progressive multiplier that is added to wins on each spin, starting from 1x and peaking at 5x the win! With the £20 spin you get the above, or either; epic spins bonus: a win multiplier of x5 is added to each spin, or the persisting wild big event: the big event bonus symbol becomes wild and will lock for 5 spins. If you land 3+ big event symbols during one spin you’ll activate the big event bonus!

What’s the big event bonus all about?

First of all, it depends on how many big event bonus symbols you landed:

– 3 x big event symbols activates the big event bonus
– 4 x big event symbols activates the big event bonus + house sneak preview
– 5 x big event symbols activates the big event bonus + hotel sneak preview

During this bonus you’ll be awarded a whole host of free spins, multipliers and cash bonuses. With the house sneak preview, you get to pick two of the house symbols and another symbol will be chosen for you at random to be wild. The hotel sneak preview will give you two hotel positions and then another random symbol. This will occur until two house symbols and two dice symbols have been revealed.
