Monday’s Nations League Tips: Netherlands and Norway feature
Published:Odds and mini-previews for tonight’s games
Irish eyes are fixed firmly on Aarhus tonight, as the Republic of Ireland face Denmark in their final UEFA Nations League group game. And you can check out our in-depth preview of it right here.
However, there’s plenty more international intrigue on the cards tonight. Old foes face off in Germany, whilst there’s a straight shootout in the battle for top spot in Group C3.
Check out our top tips on all that and more below…
Germany v Netherlands
The Dutch romped to victory in the reverse fixture, chalking up a 3-0 win over Die Mannschaft. And Ronald Koeman’s side followed that Nations League triumph up with a 2-0 victory over world champions France.
As for Germany, they’re in disarray. They’ve won just one of their last six competitive games. It’s 17/20 for Double Chance: Netherlands or Draw, while another Dutch victory is 14/5.
Memphis Depay has been in sparkling form, netting in two of the last three for Oranje. The wing wizard is 2/1 to Score Anytime. Meanwhile, it’s 7/10 this fixture produces Over 2.5 Goals for the fifth time in six meetings.
Cyprus v Norway
Norway are top of Group C3 heading into tonight’s final games. But only goal difference separates them from Bulgaria in second spot.
The Scandinavians face a Cypriot side who’ve struggled in the Nations League, but have managed a goal in each of their last four games. It’s 8/15 for a Norwegian victory, while they’re 14/5 to Win and Both Teams to Score.
Cyprus’ last defeat ended in a 2-1 loss to Bulgaria, and a repeat of that scoreline in Norway’s favour is a 7/1 shot.
Bulgaria v Slovenia
Speaking of Bulgaria, they should prove too strong for a Slovenia side who are without a win or a clean sheet in five Nations League games.
The hosts are 7/10 for victory. Meanwhile, with neither side seeing more than three goals scored in any of their five group matches so far, it’s 11/10 for Bulgaria to Win and Under 3.5 Goals.
Wins by a 2-1 scoreline have been a familiar theme for Petar Hubchev’s side, with three in their last six games. We make it 15/2 for a 2-1 home win in Sofia.
Liechtenstein v Armenia
Armenia kept their dream of winning Group D4 alive with a thrilling 6-2 comeback win in Gibraltar. If Macedonia lose their final game, victory in Vaduz will be enough to confirm top spot for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and co.
The visitors have scored 10 goals in their last two group games, and another bout of Armenia to Win and Over 2.5 Goals is 19/20. Meanwhile, Armen Gyulbudaghyants’ side are 9/5 to Win Both Halves.
