Mohamed Salah odds-on to be named PFA Player of the Year

Reds forward is favourite for the gong

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is now as short as 1/3 to be named the PFA Player of the Year for the 2017-18 season.

The Egyptian forward joined the Reds in the summer from AS Roma and has made an instant impact at Anfield.

He has scored 40 goals in 45 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with 30 of those strikes coming in the Premier League.

Sahah is now widely expected to walk away with the Player of the Year gong ahead of Kevin De Bruyne (9/4) at Sunday’s ceremony.

Elsewhere, the 25-year-old is also available at 1/9 to win the Golden Boot. Harry Kane is his nearest challenger on 26 goals.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been marked up as a 5/1 shot to claim the award for the third year in a row.

“The odds now clearly point to Mo Salah being named the PFA Player of the Year following what has been a huge swing in the betting over the last couple of weeks in favour of the Liverpool forward,” said Coral’s John Hill.
