Minzaal heads betting for Middle Park Stakes

Gimcrack Stakes winner the 3/1 favourite
After winning the Gimcrack Stakes at York in August, Minzaal has been placed as the 3/1 favourite to win the Group One Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
The two-year-old colt has won his last two runs with Coral ambassador Jim Crowley on board and heads the field for Saturday’s event.
Lucky Vega is the second favourite to win at Newmarket at 7/2, with Method and Supremacy joint-third favourites at 4/1.
Coral’s David Stevens said: “Minzaal’s owner, Sheikh Hamdan, has enjoyed plenty of big race success this summer, and the market suggests he could have more to look forward to this weekend, with the Gimcrack winner setting the standard in the Middle Park.”
In Saturday’s other juvenile showpiece, the Cheveley Park Stakes, Dandalla and Miss Amulet head the market as the joint 4/1 favourites, with Sacred and Umm Kulthum the 5/1 joint-second favourites.
