Argentine could leave after another UCL exit

Coral has cut the odds on Mauricio Pochettino not being at Tottenham Hotspur for the opening game of the 2018/19 Premier League season.

Our traders have moved the Argentine into 3/1 (from 5/1) after his side fell out of the Champions League last night to Juventus.

After charging back from 2-0 down in the first leg to lead 3-2 at Wembley, Spurs collapsed within five minutes. First, Gonzalo Higuain equalised on the night, before Paulo Dybala finished clinically to put Juve 4-3 up on aggregate.

“The FA Cup looks certain to be Spurs’ last chance of silverware this season. And with increasing speculation about Poch being lined up at PSG and Real Madrid, the odds have been slashed on the Argentine not being at the North London club after the summer,” said Coral’s John Hill.
