Matt Terry well backed for Christmas number one single
Published:X Factor winner Matt Terry has been well backed this week with leading bookmaker Coral to have the Christmas number one single since his success on the talent show final on Sunday evening. Friends of Jo Cox is second in the betting to claim the number one spot at 4-1, while the firm can also report support behind Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki who have been cut into 8-1 (from 66-1) over the last couple of days.
“The betting suggests Matt Terry is in pole position to top the singles charts on Christmas Day with his X Factor winning song which has been well backed this week for the number one spot,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“We’ve also seen strong support for Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki having the Christmas number one single following their performance on the X Factor final,” added Hill.
