Liverpool were crowned champions last night
Manchester City are the favourites to win the Premier League title next season after missing out to Liverpool this time around.
Last year’s champions suffered a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea last night, meaning Liverpool were officially crowned champions for the first time in the Premier League era.
But according to our odds, City will come back stronger next year and they’re currently 11/10 to win the trophy back.
Liverpool are 6/4 to defend the title, with Manchester United and Chelsea trailing behind at 12/1.
“Manchester City have opened up as the favourite to regain their title next season, despite being a long way behind Liverpool in 2019/20 campaign,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Jurgen Klopp’s men have been so dominant this season, however, they are second best in the betting to repeat their feat next year.”
Meanwhile, with nothing to play for in the league, City are now 6/1 to win the cup treble this season ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final with Newcastle on Sunday.
“The Carabao Cup is already in the bag, they’re odds-on favourites to win the FA Cup and they have just Bayern Munich ahead of them in the Champions League betting,” added Hill.
