Arsenal forward could be heading to Manchester
Coral’s traders have slashed the odds on Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez joining Manchester United after reports they’ve launched a bid for the forward.
United are now just 11/4 (was 16/1) to secure Sanchez’s signature. They’ve reportedly offered around £25m for the Chile international. Henrikh Mkhitaryan could also move the other way as part of any deal with Arsenal.
However, their rivals Manchester City are still in the driving seat at 4/7.
Sanchez has scored eight goals in all competitions for the Gunners so far this season. As his contract is coming to an end, Arsenal look likely to cash in while they still can.
“The odds on Alexis Sanchez joining Manchester United in the January transfer window have collapsed this afternoon. However, it is Manchester City who remain the odds-on favourites to sign the Chilean in what is going to be an interesting tussle for the Arsenal forward,” said Coral’s John Hill.
