Everton v Bournemouth – Draw

Only Aston Villa have a worse top-flight home record than under-fire Roberto Martinez’s Toffees, so the Cherries could pinch a point from this lengthy trip to Goodison Park.

Newcastle v Crystal Palace – Home win

Rafael Benitez seems to have cleared the fog from the Tyneside team and revived their fortunes, so the Eagles may well go back to London empty-handed.

Stoke v Sunderland – Draw

The Potters have little play for other than cementing a top 10 finish, and the need of Sam Allardyce’s side is greater. A share of the spoils looks on the cards.

Watford v Aston Villa – Home win

Rock-bottom and relegated Villa are the perfect opposition for the Hornets to play and get over their FA Cup semi-final exit.

West Brom v West Ham – Draw

If the Baggies can hold title-chasing Tottenham, then they should do likewise against Slaven Bilic’s Hammers.

Nottingham Forest v Wolves – Draw

Rarely has a Midlands derby had so little riding on it. This nothing game should end up level.

Sheffield Wednesday v Cardiff – Draw

The Owls need a point to confirm their Championship play-off spot and, because the last two meetings have ended with honours even, they will look to do just that.

Arsenal v Norwich – Home win

Alex Neil and his Canaries are in trouble. Newcastle and Sunderland have come to life, and it’s this game which is part of a difficult Norwich run-in that will deepen worries. Arsenal are a home banker here.

Swansea v Liverpool – Draw

It remains to be seen what exertions a Europa League semi-final take out of Liverpool, so a share of the spoils at the Liberty Stadium looks likely.

Man Utd v Leicester – Away win

Forgive the romance, but the Foxes can win the title at Old Trafford. Against a Red Devils defence that is still makeshift they are great value to complete their Cinderella story.

Southampton v Man City – Draw

Manuel Pellegrini and his City players will have one eye on a decisive Champions League semi second leg at the Bernabeu, and this is one lengthy trip to the south coast they could do without.

Walsall v Fleetwood – Home win

Although the Saddlers have confirmed their League One play-off place, they will want to avoid playing Millwall or Bradford City, and that is motivation enough for them to deepen the travelling Cod Army’s relegation fears here.

Brighton v Derby – Draw

The Rams’ recent unbeaten run could effectively end Seagulls hopes of automatic Premier League promotion, as these two in-form teams may have to settle for a point apiece.

Burnley v QPR – Home win

Sean Dyche’s side, meanwhile, can take a huge step towards confirming their top-flight return by humbling the Hoops at Turf Moor.

Chelsea v Tottenham – Draw

Stamford Bridge is no longer the fortress it once was, but Spurs have effectively messed up their Premier League title chances by dropping points to West Brom. A Bank Holiday Monday Night Football battle that ends all square is a consideration.
