London punter turns £5 into almost £100,000 with incredible football bet

A Coral punter from South-east London is celebrating today, after a remarkable £5 bet on five football matches across Europe won him almost £100,000.
The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed the correct score bet at the Coral shop in Plumstead, SE18, on Monday, on five games that took place across Monday and Tuesday evenings.
He landed the £96,687.50 jackpot when Juventus beat PSV 2-1 in their Champions League match on Tuesday, to seal the five timer.

“This customer fully deserves his bumper payout, having picked five correct scores, although with goals in the 94th and 96th minutes in a couple of the games, he must have been sweating on more than one occasion!” said Coral’s David Stevens.
