With Arsenal set to meet Chelsea at the Emirates, in what will be an intriguing London derby clash, Coral take a look at which three players either club would take from their opposition to aid their chances of taking all three points, with the Gunners evens with Coral to record a win.

With that in mind, let’s start with who Arsene Wenger would opt for from last season’s Premier League title winners Chelsea, with an interesting second half of the season to come.

Arsenal

Diego Costa

He may have been off-form for the first part of this season, though there is no doubt that if offered the striker, Wenger would take him. Under Guus Hiddink the former Atletico Madrid man has rediscovered his scoring touch and with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in support would run riot for the Gunners.

Nemanja Matic

The Serbian defensive midfielder would solve a long-standing problem for Arsenal and would slot straight in. A definite upgrade on Francis Coquelin and he would add a more robust combative element to the side, which they arguably haven’t had since Patrick Vieira.

Cesc Fabregas

While Wenger turned down the chance to re-sign the Spaniard last season before he moved to Chelsea, with rumours that Santi Cazorla could be on his way out, Fabregas would be a perfect replacement and a great source of goals.

Chelsea

Mesut Ozil

Arsenal’s assist machine would be snapped up in an instant if Chelsea had the chance to sign him and would be a superb supply line for Costa.

Alexis Sanchez

Arguably better than what the Blues have in his position, the Chilean’s industrious streak would be highly desirable for Chelsea, with many of their attackers often showing a refusal to track back.

Hector Bellerin

The Blues haven’t been too convincing at right back this season, with Branislav Ivanovic usually one of Chelsea’s best players. Bellerin is more of an auxiliary winger and has been a key function for the Gunners this term, contributing a number of assists, goals and energy.
