The champions could surpass Manchester City

Liverpool are odds-on to break Manchester City’s Premier League points record this season.

The Reds were crowned champions last night for the first time since 1989 and are on track to surpass the 100 points City recorded in 2017/18.

Liverpool are priced at just 5/6 with Coral to earn 101 points or more, while they’re 8/11 to win the league by a record margin of 20+ points.

They also need five wins in their final seven games for a record 33 wins in a season, which our traders have priced as short as 1/20.

“Liverpool remain odds-on to break the Premier League points record this season, something they will surely have in their sights after sealing the title,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“There are a number of Premier League records Jurgen Klopp’s men can still break, including the most wins in a campaign and the largest winning margin in history, both of which they are odds-on to claim.”
