Konta 25-1 with Coral to win a Grand Slam in 2016

Leading bookmaker Coral make British number one female tennis player Johanna Konta 25-1 to win a Grand Slam in 2016 following her impressive run on the WTA Tour.

Konta now faces seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams in the quarter-finals of the Wuhan Open where she is 6-4 to upset the American and 12-1 with Coral to lift the trophy in China.

“Johanna Konta has been on a remarkable run in the women’s game over the past couple of months and once again she has put out a top 10 player in Simona Halep. We think she could establish herself as a top 20 player in the near future so we make her 25-1 to win a Grand Slam in 2016,” said Coral’s John Hill.
