Goals look guaranteed in Dortmund

We all witnessed the fire-power Monaco possess last time, but they squeezed past Manchester City, courtesy of the away goal rule following a 6-6 aggregate score. The cash-rich French side conceded five in England, but didn’t shy away from going on the front foot on their own patch in the second-leg, winning 3-1. They know only one way to play, and we’ll see them go for the throat of Dortmund, relying on the might of Falcao to get them ahead. The Columbian was on the scoresheet in a 1-0 win over Angers at the weekend.

Monaco are big game performers, but hosts Borussia Dortmund are no shrinking violets themselves, and rattled in four against Benfica when last seen in this competition. Benfica nicked a 1-0 in the first-leg, but that proved little hurdle for Thomas Tuchel’s men, with Aubameyang scoring a stunning hat-trick, Pulisic getting the spare at the Westfalenstadion. The hosts did concede four against Bayern Munich at the weekend and both teams to score on Tuesday looks bet of the night. Coral traders are handing out 4/9, while the game producing over 3.5 goals can be backed at 21/20.

Juventus to keep things tight

Two super-powers of European football come to blows in the other match on Tuesday as Juventus and Barcelona face-off in Italy. This will be the 10th meeting of the pair, and there’s very little between them in the head-to-head stats, which currently stands at four wins Juve, three Barca and a pair of draws. Massimiliano Allegri’s side brushed past Porto at this venue last time, Dybala scoring from the spot on 42-minutes, stretching out a 2-0 first-leg lead. That 1-0 was the third time Juve have won to nil on the bounce in this format, they also beat Chievo 2-0 in Serie A at the weekend.

Punters will remember Barca’s last Champions League start well, as it ranks as one of the most exciting comebacks in the tournament’s history, and that’s saying something. Trailing PSG 4-0 from the first leg, the Spaniards staged a stunning fight back at the Camp Nou, winning 6-1 to go through 6-5 on aggregate. Three goals after 88-minutes turned the match on its head, Sergi scoring a winner with 95-minutes on the clock. That showed once again the strength of Luis Enrique’s attack, but they failed to hit the net on their last road trip and Juventus to win to nil on Tuesday looks worth an interest. 7/2 is laid out by Coral.
