Coral ambassador and leading trainer Joe Tizzard is back with his latest exclusive blog, previewing his runners on Saturday at Ayr following last weekend's Grand National.

Ayr 1.43 – Lord Of Thunder

Lord Of Thunder did disappoint me at Cheltenham, although I think we ended up trying to chase a Grade One horse [Caldwell Potter] in a handicap, and we just overcooked him. He won well at Newbury the time before, that was over almost three miles so I don’t think this trip will be a problem, and it looks a nice final option for this season.

Ayr 3.35, Coral Scottish Grand National – Rock My Way

Rock My Way ran a cracker to finish second in the National Hunt Chase at the Festival, he got the trip really well, and I think he’s improved physically at home since then. It’s a hot race, as you’d expect, but I’m looking forward to running him, he’s in here off a nice weight, and if he gets the extra couple of furlongs, which I think he will, he should have an each-way chance at least. Runners in these big races are what we want, and I think he’s a young horse on the up, and this is a great race for him.
