Joe Tizzard: Everything will suit Triple Trade at Ascot

Trainer and Coral ambassador Joe Tizzard discusses the chances of his sole runner at Ascot on Saturday afternoon.
He ran well at Ascot last month when he finished third. He made a quick appearance as we tried to prevail again without a penalty. Fortunately, the handicapper has not been too hard on him for his success at Cheltenham.
I think 2m3f on dry ground at Ascot is perfect for him. He obviously has a favourite’s chance and hopefully we can get a winner on the board on the final day’s race racing before Christmas.
I will enjoy Christmas Day with my family, but you always have Boxing Day on your mind as a trainer. It is such an important day in the season.
There are also some big days to follow, such as Coral Welsh Grand National Day at Chepstow. My horses appear in good form at the moment, so hopefully we can have plenty of success over the festive period. I am very much looking forward to it all.
