Coral ambassador previews his Saturday rides at Sandown

2.05 – El Guanche

El Guanche has a bit to do on the ratings with a few of his opponents slightly better off but he has been in good form and has an ideal draw in stall one.

He will handle the cut in the ground and that gives me hope that he can run a nice race here and be involved in the finish.

3.15 – Sawwaah

I’m really looking forward to this ride. He has run on good or good to firm a lot but in my opinion he is going to be better with a bit of cut in the ground and after all the rain we have had we should have the perfect conditions for him.

He has first time cheekpieces on which should help too and whilst this is a competitive race he has a great chance and I would be really disappointed if he didn’t win. Everything should be in his favour and he has a brilliant chance.

3.50 – Karnavaal

This horse has some good form and was a little bit unlucky at York where he didn’t quite get the run of things.

The ground is a little bit of an unknown but if he does handle it then he should be capable of running to a high level here.

4.25 – Multamis

Multamis won nicely at Epsom and has been working particularly well since that race. He has ran on good to soft before but we don’t know about the really soft ground that we might face here.

I’m hopeful that he will handle the conditions and if he backs up his work since his last win he will be there or thereabouts.

5.00 – Galileo Silver

This horse has a lovely pedigree and although I haven’t ridden him before I’ve studied his form closely and there is plenty of promise.

He struggled on good to firm ground which is a reason to hope he will improve this weekend and really appreciate the soft ground. He is carrying top weight but he should run very well.

5.35 – Oi The Clubb Oi’s

I’ve ridden this horse twice and we are two from two at the moment! He was very game last night out, toughing it out to win, and he will stay the distance and love the ground.

He could still be ahead of the handicapper and the track will suit his style so I have every chance of ending my day with a winner.
