Our man previews his rides on the final day of Royal Ascot

12:40 – Woven

I rode this horse out in Dubai for David Simcock. He won over seven furlongs which wouldn’t worry me because the Ascot six furlongs is a stiff six, so he has enough poke for that. He has a good each way chance.

13:50 – Qaader

He won so well at Newbury last week and we’ve obviously backed him up quite quickly but I think he has had enough time to get over it, he didn’t have a hard race that day.

I like this horse a lot, I really do. He is a big, raw horse with loads of ability. He will stay further than six furlongs which is what you need and I think he has a big chance.

15:35 – Khaadem

He is the one I have been looking forward to all week, I just pray no more rain comes. He is definitely a better horse on good to firm ground.

You can put a line through his poor run at Haydock as it was heavy ground up there and then at Ascot it was heavy again. He is a good horse and if the ground is good then he will be bang there. It doesn’t look a strong race.

The Tin Man is eight years old, Dream of Dreams is in and out, One Master is more of a seven furlong horse. Hello Youmzain is probably the one I fear most while Sceptical’s form is questionable.

The sprinters in Ireland aren’t great. They are making him favourite but if I could choose a horse in the race I would choose Khaadem.

16:40 – Fun Mac

He stays well and has run well in this race before. I like the horse and though he has come down in the ratings a bit, I still think he can run a decent race.
