Jamelia favourite for Strictly chop
Published:Bookmaker Coral make Jamelia the 11-10 favourite to be voted-off Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, ahead of Carol Kirkwood at 11-8. Jeremy Vine is also in danger of a bottom two finish, and the firm has priced him at 11-2 to be sent home.
At the head of the betting, Jay McGuiness is the odds-on 4-6 favourite to win the Glitter Ball trophy. His closest rivals are Georgia May Foote and Peter Andre, who are both available at 8-1.
“As far as we are concerned, Jamelia has out stayed her welcome on Strictly. The odds suggest that she will be in a dance-off with Carol Kirkwood, but not a penny is being placed on her getting axed,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
On the X Factor, Kiera Weathers is the 2-1 favourite to be eliminated ahead of Reggie N Bollie at 11-4. Louisa Johnson remains the clear favourite to win the show at 6-5.
“Keira Weathers didn’t live up to our expectations last weekend and that’s reflected in the betting. Over 60% of bets are being placed on her getting voted off next,” added McGeady.
