Jack McDermott installed as early favourite to win Big Brother

Leading bookmaker Coral has opened betting on this year’s Big Brother winner ahead of tomorrow night’s opening show.  McDonald’s worker Jack McDermot as the early 6-1 favourite to win the show, ahead of model Danny Wisker and student Christian MJC at 7-1, while former basketball player Kieran McLeod is next best at 8-1.

Harriet Jackson is the leading female at 10-1, Chloe Wilburn is priced at 8-1, with Irish housemate Jade Martina-Lynch available at 12-1. Other names include Simon Gross at 14-1, Adjoa Mensah and twins Amy and Sally Broadben at 16-1. Eileen Daly has been chalked up as the 20-1 outsider.

Yesterday, Coral also opened specials on the antics in the house, quopting odds of 4-6 on a Big Brother bonk, while it’s 4-1 that a housemate strips naked on the opening night. Other odds include 5-1 on a punch-up and 1-2 on a housemate being removed for bad behaviour.

“This year’s Big Brother line-up has already sparked excitement amongst punters who are already getting behind Jack McDermott to win it,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.

“With so many personalities under one roof, we are almost certain that housemates will get up to all sorts of antics, including love affairs and fights,” added McGeady.
