With 21 of the 40 runners declared for Saturday’s Randox Grand National trained in Ireland, we go 4/6 that the Irish win the Aintree race for a third time in four years.

Our traders also also go 8/1 that there is an Irish 1,2,3,4, while Gordon Elliott is 6/4 to train a third National winner.

“For the first time ever in Grand National history, Irish-trained runners make up more than half the big race field, so it’s no surprise that they’re odds on to triumph again on Saturday, and just 8-1 to repeat last year’s 1,2,3,4,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
