Our expert looks over Tuesday’s US cards

The USA is serving up meetings at Will Rogers Downs andFonner Park on Tuesday, with a total of 17 races to look forward to betweenthem.

Before it all gets underway, our trader Joe Kyne has taken acloser look at both cards:

WillRogers Downs

FloydWethey Jr and Ty Kennedy both top the standings at the Oklahoma track, havingridden an equal number of winners there this season. Wethey Jr has eight ridesto Kennedy’s four on Tuesday.

It could be worth paying close attention to Kiana’s Love in the first race (19.15). Trainer William Morey’s horses have a very impressive record when coming into a race off the back of a win. It would be no surprise if this filly manages to chalk up another victory, with this race similar to the one she won last time. There is a minor question mark over the slight drop in trip, but Ty Kennedy is just the man to get the job done, even though this is his first time partnering the four-year-old.

One name in race two (19:45) should look familiar to most racing fans in the UK. Native River shares his name with Colin Tizzard’s Welsh National and Cheltenham Gold Cup winner. Andy Gladd’s runner may not have the enjoyed the success of his English counterpart, but he’s no slouch around Will Rogers.

He’s droppedback into a more suitable grade than his last run. Expect him to go from thefront and look to make all in what is shaping up to be a thrilling race.

Ty Kennedy booked rides: Kiana’s Love (19.15), Texas Long Bow (20.15), Settle Down Eileen (22.45), Hot’n Notty (23.45)

FonnerPark

There’s alater start at the Nebraska track, where veteran Armando Martinez leads thejockey’s championship, with Jake Olesiak in close pursuit.

On paper, Olesiak looks to have the better rides over the course of the evening. He’ll be hopeful of getting his first win of the night on either Emmas Silver Rose (22.27) or Big Hearted Factor (23.48).

Looking at the form, one of his more interesting rides at (potentially) a bigger price is Shady Lane in the eighth race (01.09). David Anderson is running at a 20% strike-rate this year and his filly has three wins in three starts at Fonner.

Thisrace features stronger competition than her previous win, but the speedydaughter of Top Hit will be going all out for a four-timer.

JakeOlesiak booked rides: Zibby Too(22.00), Emmas Silver Rose (22.27), Walker’s Bullet (22.54), Como Se Llama(23.21), Big Hearted Factor (23.48), Toccetta (00.15), Magnanimus Man (00.54),Shady Lane (01.09), Big Egypt (01.36)
